On the day of the Halo laser skin resurfacing treatment, a numbing cream is applied to the face. Your eyes are covered with shields to protect them from the effects of the laser.
The Halo handpiece first measures the surface area of individual sections of your face. Multiple passes are then performed to treat each section.
The intensity of the Halo laser can be adjusted depending on how aggressive the treatment will be. More intensive treatment will result in a little more swelling and more associated downtime. A low-intensity treatment will require more sessions but negligible downtime.
